LG Esteem Rooted!!!
Oct 7th
We were able to root my LG Esteem. However there is still some things we need to tinker with to get SU and Superuser.apk working and asking your permission instead of just granting all apps root permissions.
Check back, I will be posting another one click root for the phone, once we get everything worked out.

Samsung Galaxy Indulge – Root, Working SuperUser, Bloatware Removal
Apr 11th
OK, I have been working with some of the guys over at Android Creative Syndicate an have merged my bloatware removal script with there new 1 click root script. This new script will root the phone, remove the bloatware and install a working SuperUser.apk. This means the phone is now protected by the superuser app and not left open to grant access to all apps.
The new download can be found at: http://androidinvasion.us/downloads/Root_And_Bloatware_Removal.zip
Make sure you have drivers for the phone installed beforehand.

Unzip the files to a location on your computer and then run the run.bat

Samsung Galaxy Indulge – Full Root Achieved!
Mar 2nd
So we have finally been able to get the darn phone rooted. It looks like samsung has put some sort of block in place to prevent superuser form running/installing. The root, however is actually working. We all spent a bunch of time trying much more complex ways to get the phone rooted and even ended up bricking a few devices in the process. The current root that is working uses an SU that does not hook into Superuser.apk. This means that you should be extra careful what you install on the phone because all apps will have root access without prompting you for permission. Be careful until a working Superuser.apk is available.
Would be great if we could get someone to try and figure out what method samsung is using to black many of the apps that require root, like SuperUser, Tethering apps….
Follow the steps in the previous post that explains how to remove the bloatware from the phone. I have altered the script to also swap out the SU with one that gives all apps root access.
Special thanks goes out to rjsweesy over on androidforums.com for pointing this out.
